• Wig Wag Soldering Kit. Here is a fun yet educational soldering kit.  Students can learn the basics of soldering and build a small flashing light. Includes everything but the solder, soldering iron, and 9V battery.
  • The Stroke Counter is designed to assist farmers by keeping track of the bails produced on a bailer and the strokes per bail. The Stroke Counter is a 12VDC system which connects to the battery of the tractor via a 10’ power cable that is provided. The Stroke Counter can count the strokes of the bailer as they happen or can show the total strokes the last bail produced. The unit also tracks the total bails the machine has produced. Both of these counts can be reset at any time with the push of a button.
  • This unit is designed to learn the basics of pulse width modulation.  PWM is a type of digital signal where the electrical power pulses changed by a modulating signal to represent the amplitude of an analog input signal. It can be plugged into the pegboard of our other trainers, or it can be designed in a standalone frame with external bulb and motor.
  • PLCs are specialized computers that use inputs and outputs to control equipment in an industrial facility. PLCs can be used to control a small piece of equipment to entire processing lines. They can be simple with a few I/O (inputs and outputs) or they can be mounted in rack systems with thousands of I/O in a SCADA (supervisor control and data acquisition) system. A PLC consists of a processor unit (CPU), a power supply, a unit to store the memory, a platform to interface with the inputs and outputs and then a communication device. PLCs can be programmed with ladder logic or with more sophisticated proprietary languages PLCs can interpret discrete and analog signals. Discrete signals come from sensors and switches. Analog signals can be from instrumentation that measures pressure or temperature. The trainer comes with a manual that describes what PLCs are and how they function. Also in the manual are hands-on exercises to reinforce the concepts and give students an understanding of real-world applications.
  • The GM SET Trainer is designed as a hands-on training aid for instructing students in building and troubleshooting electronic circuits. Using the provided Modules (like a Hazard Switch, Fused On-Off Switch, Relay, Sunload Sensor, etc.), the student can learn how the components interact within a circuit. The GM SET Trainer includes a 3/16” white acrylic peg board work top, mounted on a slanted metal enclosure for desk or tabletop use. The output banana jacks are mounted on the sides of the work top, and include (3) 12VDC jacks, (2) 5VDC jacks, (2) 12VAC test points, and (5) ground jacks. The hinged work top opens to reveal our customized Power Supply and the storage area for the GM Trainer’s 26 Specialty Modules and 24 Test Leads.

  • EIT is designed to train the fundamentals of electronics found in the manufacturing industry. This trainer uses relays, buttons, lamps, terminal blocks, and many devices found on and in industrial electrical panels.  EIT comes with a 24V din mount power supply with parts, wires and tools to build various electrical circuits to learn about basic electrical circuits. The board is durable acrylic with 3 din rails to move parts around to desired location and panel design.  The trainer comes with the board, parts, power supply, tools, wires and curriculum to begin your electrical training adventure.  The trainer allows for all sorts of part customization, and you can add your own circuits and modify the system as desired. It is great to add a PLC to this unit.  It greatly expands the possible options and training opportunities.  There are options to add various PLCs such as the Allen-Bradley Micro 850.  Please call for PLC options.
